You may forget my face and my personality, but you will never forget the imprint of my voice. It sets me apart from the crowd. It spurs me into actions. I am the girl child, constantly fighting for a future that you and I deserve on an equal footing. 

 

FOUR DAY COUNTDOWN

When others quiver to voice their discontent with the status quo, I won’t be backed in a corner, I won’t fold my hands and await the arrival of a saviour. I will rise to the occasion, because I am who the world needs to bring that change right now.

 

THREE DAY COUNTDOWN

My future isn’t premised on my pretty face. My goals aren’t contingent on my lovely appearance. It is based on the baritone effect of my vociferous voice as it strikes like lightning until the walls of impediments that line across my path come crashing down.

 

TWO DAY COUNTDOWN

 

When the voices around me are bereft of reason, ambition, foresight, and animated desires; but inundated with doubts, fears, and limitations, I will stand out with a vehement objection—I have a voice; I have a future. I will use the former to secure the latter.

 

ONE DAY COUNTDOWN

I am an aggressive go-getter. My voice speaks my intent. My words mould my wishes into life. I will not buckle under societal pressures; my future lies on the weight of my capable shoulders. I am a peerless pearl; I light the path and others follow in my footsteps.
